There’s this old saying that goes “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” 23 years old social media celebrity, King Angel, shares with us his journey on becoming a social star from working as a security guard.
“I never really understood what that meant until I became a social media star. It wasn’t until I started using my voice to empower the LGBTQ community that I realized the importance of networking,” shares King Angel.
During his early years, when he was fresh out of high school, he didn’t really know what he wanted to do with his life. He just knew that he needed a job to help support his family. That is when the journey of King Angel began as a security guard. But, little did he know that this job would eventually lead him to where he is today.
He further shares, “It was during my time as a security guard that I first started using social media. At first, it was just a way for me to connect with my friends and family. But then, something happened that changed my life forever.”
King Angel went viral on Twitter while working as a security guard. It all started with a simple tweet about the importance of body positivity in the LGBTQ community.
