Now here is where things get interesting. People online are claiming that she is a fraud and was seen having an iPhone in one of the videos which clearly indicates that she is not as pure as she pretends to be.
If the resources are to be believed, she is from Chandigarh and she is a model. Also she is a psychology student.
According to her, Muskan Bawa wants to pursue Masters at Harvard University but she couldn’t raise funds. Her parents are divorced and her mother lives by herself and is a government employee.
Controversy
There are a lot of question marks that come with this scenario. First of all, she is using fundraising websites or applications one of them is Ketto and the other is Milaap.
On Ketto, Muskan Bawa claims to be from Chandigarh, while on the other hand on the Milaap app she claims to be from Dharamshala. People are investigating, and this is a Red flag for them.
Humans of Bombay started this trend. They added her video with a sad music and it was bought by the audience.
People don’t even know her still they are donating because it feels good to help someone. But it is very stupid to help someone without knowing the cause.
The biggest Red flag in this controversy is that she is raising rupees 12 lacs on the Ketto app and 23 lacs on the Milaap app which clearly doesn’t add up to 23 lacs, which she is claiming to be the fees of Harvard University.
